We pride ourselves in customizing your food to maximize the quality of your stay. Talk to our Owner/Chef and he will try to tailor what ever your deepest culinary desire is!
Vegan & Vegetarian options: We have found lately that our clients reclaim vegetarian and vegan options. We are more than happy to comply with your needs. We elaborate Japanese, Indian and French recipes with these options for you. Also we provide gluten free pasta for those people having gluten intolerance.
Our fish and shell fish is caught locally we do our utmost to ensure it is prepared using Japanese techniques. A La Plancha and Poached dishes are a specialty.
Presently, we produce our own, quail eggs, free range eggs and chicken in our cooking. We will have Duck, Goose, Guinea Fowl & Rabbit coming for your pleasure.
El Sol Bistro Restaurant has a a Permaculture finca growing vegetables, herbs and spices for the restaurant.
We make our own french bread, pasta (Fettuccine) and Gyozas which our customers rave about.
We only provide the freshest produce a vegetarian options and vegan options are available upon request.

As for wines we are very stringent on the quality of our wines. We offer wine by the Glass from $4 and bottles from $24. They go through stringent selection to ensure you have the best quality with respect to price.
We serve Bouquete coffee from long board coffees. They recently won prizes in Best of Panama.
We serve glueten free pasta and home made bread (preordered).

ABOUT THE CHEF
My name is Michael Roberts I am the chef/owner, of Hotel El Sol Morrillo
I consider myself a gourmet rather than a chef. I previously have traveled extensively around the world and I have been subject to many different cultures and cuisines from France, UK, America, Italy, Japan, Korea etc.
I am, above all, a wine connoisseur and would love to discuss with you about the wines you drink and can recommend the right wine for the right dish to enhance your stay and enjoyment.
I am, gourmand and gourmet, my influence in the Hotel's farm/finca is to identify and produce the freshest produce for your enjoyment.
